Fritz Posted December 17, 2022 Author Share Posted December 17, 2022 Some new additions to the Museum, post-war period Polizei Schleswig-Holstein, cap and armbadge for the old green uniform and a ribbon for the Sturmflut Medaille, 1962 I have seen the medal without a ribbon and intend to get this next. Just received: Sturmflutmedaille 1962, Schleswig-Holstein version. Green police uniform worn from 1981 till 2006, thereafter replaced with an American style darkblue pyjama type uniform and "batman" cap. Older copies, possibly of original material A slightly missmatched pair of Gefreitenknöpfe, one is 25mm, the other 24mm. His grandfather, Hermann Griem from Hamburg, served in Kaiser-Franz-Garde-Grenadier-Regiment Nr.2 and Garde-Füsilier-Regiment. He lost his left arm in WW1. Militär Paß Wehrpaß from 1940, as Landwehr II. Aufgebots, as he lost one arm. Fritz Posted March 5 Author Share Posted March 5 m Februar 2012 kam das Ehepaar Druve aus Norderstedt ins Heimatmuseum und übergab den Mitarbeitern ein großforma- tiges Wandbild von den Wandsbeker Husaren. Das Foto zeigt die Unteroffiziere des Regiments vor dem Kasernengebäude 1898. Die mit einem damals üblichen breiten antiken Rahmen ver- sehene Aufnahme sollte dem Großmüll überantwortet werden und konnte dank der Aufmerksamkeit von Rudolf Druve und seiner Frau vor der Entsorgung gerettet werden.
