Collar patches were yellow. All are with the Kar.98a and a futher digital re-mastered version (better?) A very old cast iron Sieldeckel was uncovered by roadworks some years ago and was no longer required. Since acquired by the Museum and now in the grounds behind the Museum. Age uncertain, but certainly before 1937, as everything thereafter was marked 'Hamburg' rather than Wandsbek. The top of the standard is missing, presumably stolen many years back, has never turned up since. Chevaulegers-Regiment in Dieuze and later with Husaren-Regiment 15 in Wandsbek. Signature on documents is Major Maximilian Fels, Regimentskommandeur, 1913-1916. A photo of the uniform from the Bayer.
