Blyth Battery 1916 - 2016.

Went on Saturday here are some photo's of a display put on by members of the Joint War Organization of Hull,

And a look inside one of the Searchlight Buildings first time I've seen these open, a rare treat the Searchlight

has been restored and the communication equipment used to communicate between the Searchlight Building

Great stuff! The chairs inside the search light room made me laugh, I have the same ones! IKEA, painted field green!

Surprisingly I have never been in the battery despite often walking along Blyth beach every few weeks. Must pop in the next time.

Very impressive. I hope the German uniforms are not real, It would be a shame wearing out originals! They are not getting more abundant as time goes on.
