leon21 Posted May 22, 2016 Author Posted May 22, 2016 Here's a Blyth Battery Volunteer dressed as a German Red Cross Nurse.. A Cockleshell Heroes display.. And a look inside one of the Searchlight Buildings first time I've seen these open, a rare treat the Searchlight has been restored and the communication equipment used to communicate between the Searchlight Building and Observation Post is still there.. Next some displays in the old magazine room.. And a few random photo's. 2 Quote
Greg Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Great stuff! The chairs inside the search light room made me laugh, I have the same ones! IKEA, painted field green! 3 Quote
Ross Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Surprisingly I have never been in the battery despite often walking along Blyth beach every few weeks. Must pop in the next time. 3 Quote
Fritz Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Very impressive. I hope the German uniforms are not real, It would be a shame wearing out originals! They are not getting more abundant as time goes on. 3 Quote
