PIP SQUEAK AND WILFRED Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 TO ALL WHO REPLIED TO HELP WITH IDENTIFYING THE UNIFORM. I HAVE NOW IDENTIFIED THE UNIFRM IN MY PICTURES,SPINK LONDON REPLIED TO MY REQUEST STATING THAT IT IS INFACT A LIVERY COAT OF A FOOTMAN. HOWEVER IT WOULD APPEAR TO VERY RARE AS THE BUTTONS CARRY THE CREST OF THE EARL OF DERBY AND HE WAS A KNIGHTS GARTER. SO NOW NEED TO FIND SOMWHERE TO EITHER SELL THE ITEM OR MAYBE GET IT RESTORED COULD ANYONE HELP N THIS MATTER FINALY MY THANKS TO THOSE WHO TOOK THE TIME TO HELP A NEW MEMBER. BEST RERGARDS DAVID.
