WWI Patriotic Desk

Friends who are antique dealers stumbled across this and picked it up for their shop... quite an interesting early 20th century desk which was hand carved with WWI patriotic scenes. Having removed a draw a paper lithograph was found pasted to the bottom of the scene carved into the draw and dated 1915.

I presume then all the carvings are the same though only one has the paper lithograph from the Illustrated War News to show. The carver, William Craig Langbank I can find nothing on. A quick search of the IWM records and Ancestry.com doesn't turn up the name in the era as I would expect but I also didn't dig too deeply.
