sommewalker Posted December 16, 2014 Author Share Posted December 16, 2014 As a p.s to the earlier post on this 18pounder shell candle stick.I have checked in my book ,the V S M stands for Vickers son & Maxim,and signifies that the shell was a post amalgamation with ,the Swedish shell manufacturer Nordenfelt made shell,...that and its not in a circle,the C.F stands for (full cordite charge)the primer is stamped 2/17 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
