Next is a rimmed helmet marked "FKS" 12 for Thomas Firth & Sons Ltd. ( Manufacturer & Steel Supplier ).

Next is a helmet that was repurposed for a civil defense role in WW2. It has a thick layer of white paint over the original paint so the heat stamp is hard to see but it appears to be "FKS" 1 for Thomas Firth & Sons Ltd. ( Manufacturer & Steel Supplier ).

British made helmet used by a American Air Raid Warden during WW2.

Here is another unrimmed helmet, all I can read is "LS 18", possibly.

Next is a rimmed helmet I believe to be marked "HO 70". Weirdly the mark is partly obscured by the rimmed edge, guess someone was in a hurry to get this one done.

Next is  rimmed helmet marked "HV 633" The "6" is barely visible in the pictures, you can just make out the outline if looking directly at the mark.

Next up is a rimmed helmet marked "BS 7". ( Manufacturer & Steel Supplier ) W. Beardmore & Co Ltd Glasgow.

Next up is one the I refurbished some time ago. It is marked "D/O 21"

Yes I remember this one it has the sleeping lion Trade mark for Bury's of Sheffield who made the steel then supplied it to

S. Osborne & Co Ltd of Sheffield. who rolled it into sheets before sending it to James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield.

This one is tough, as the heat stamp is not totally legible. What is visible is a slash mark, and the the right an "O" and the number 372. Before the slash might be a small "M" but its very hard to see.

Up next is another rimmed helmet, marked "D/F 67" Very nice clean and complete one.

Next is another rimmed helmet marked "H.V 344" H for Hutton & Sons Ltd of Sheffield and V for Vickers Ltd of Sheffield, 344 is the batch number. Obviously the helmet has seen better days, the exterior looks as if it were painted black at one point with a 2 red stripes intersecting to form a cross.

Excellent photos Gildwiller, it would be good if you edited them to include who the maker is for each one, if it can be worked out.  We would then have a really good reference of maker marks.  I see Leon has already identified one as Bury's of Sheffield.

Ok, next is another rimmed helmet marked " HV 335" H for Hutton & Sons Ltd of Sheffield and V for Vickers Ltd of Sheffield, 335 is the batch number

Up next is a rimmed helmet marked "FKS 5". Thomas Firth & Sons Ltd.( both Manufacturer and Steel Supplier ) and Steel Batch 5)

Next is a rimmed helmet, marked "H.H/O 319 HH=Harrison Bros & Howson Ltd of Sheffield, O=S. Osborne & Co Ltd of Sheffield.

Also has what is called the river gravel finish were the gravel is mixed with the paint before it is applied to the helmet.

This helmet is a rimmed version marked "FS 27" for T.Firth & Sons Ltd of Sheffield, steel lot 27. This particular helmet is missing the liner and chinstrap, however it does have a paper based decal on the front, one of the US 26th "Yankee" Division, 103rd Field Artillery. Most likely added during the occupation era or just shortly after the war as very few if any US helmets had distinctive insignia during the conflict.
