Catotheyounger Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I think there should be a radio station that plays nothing but Wagner. Id happily be its first DJ.. "Its just passed three A.M in the morning.. bringing you Wagner all night.. taking any requests till 6 and here is a sound that literally haunts my dreams.. its Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral.. Alright.." 4 Quote

Catotheyounger Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Ah Lovely lovely Ludwig. If he where alive today you just know he'd be one of those aging Heavy Metal musicians that seem to live forever. I'd defiantly accept a request for Ode to Joy. 2 Quote
Kenny Andrew Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 great idea for a thread what about a bit of Gustav Holst 2 Quote
Helen Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Love a bit of Holst, trust you Kenny to like Mars! At the moment I have been listening to quite alot of Rachmaninoff, particually Piano concerto No.2 movement 3. If any of you are film nerds you will know this is also played all the time in the film Brief Encounter. 3 Quote
Catotheyounger Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 Holst's 'Mars' always reminds me of the Imperial March from Star Wars.. Anyone else remember this film by Ridley Scott? 3 Quote
Kenny Andrew Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 this was always one of my favourites, 4 Quote
