Bertolt Brecht

Recommended Posts

So I've just finished reading a play entitles "The resistible rise of Arturo UI" It's a satire based on the rise of Hitler, alas it is set in Chicago and all of his right-hand men are rather, well. "Fluffy". If you're a fan of satire or just appreciate a good play, it's the one for you.

I think you can purchase it online, it's rather rare too see it in a book shop or even to see it being performed. x :)

Bertolt Brechts quote was used at the end of Cross of Iron "Don't rejoice in his defeat, you men. For though the world has stood up and stopped the bastard, The bitch that bore him is in heat again"

Aye, he was an interesting character! Amazing theatre practitioner! Most of my acting is influenced from him.
