Hi all, this buckle was originally a Tunnerbund buckle made by Berge & Nolte until it was converted to a Heer buckle. I like these early conversions, I find them very interesting. Again not sure which company actually did the conversion

Does anyone have information on the late war blue-painted examples? I find them rather suspicious, esp. as many are almost mint.
