leon21
Don't know if you guys have seen one of these forms before. It's a proof of lineage up to 4 Grandparents, immediate draft survey in tabular form, this one's never been used.
Fritz
You'd need a degree, a Doctor title or years of academic study to fill this in.
Ian_Kel
I'm sure I used to have one of these but without the outer card folder. It was part of a personnel folder (Soldbuch + pre-war SS-TV ausweis + "clype file", etc) to a guy in the SS-TV, pre-war Brandenburg Rgt. (think he had a "12" numeral under his Totenkopf collar patch on his SS ausweis, Brandenburg?) . As far as I remember the ancestry form was also blank, like totally unfilled which I always thought strange considering the level of detail in the rest of his file (it was pretty much unpleasant reading), he'd attested pre-war with the SS-TV., promoted to NCO, demoted and transferred to SS penal Btn. for bullying subordinates. Time served in SS Penal Btn. then transferred to Hohenstaufen Div.
Ian_Kel
Was it a marriage thing?
Eddieq
I have a group of documents relating to an ss man which has him applying for permission to get married. His first application was turned down and his second (to a different spouse) was passed. The entire folder was lifted by the Americans towards the end of the war when they removed an ss archive and I have it in my archive - I will post photos of it tomorrow.
Eddieq
Here is a small selection of the content, there are various forms and photos showing all the individuals. The file was liberated from the Marriage and Resettlement Bureau in the Harz mountains - amazing that in early 1945 people were still having to go through such bureaucracy to get married when the allies where already on German soil. I can post more pictures if people are interested. E
