  1. Hi, I'm sure this gets asked a lot but i was wondering what you look for when looking to see if an Iron Cross is fake. This applies to both wars and 1st and 2nd classes. Cheers Arran
  2. Just arrived, 15 number 8 Sprengkapseln dets all maker marked M in original box. These dets were used in various pieces of German ordnance. Box is 43 date marked & has a WaA inspection stamp. The string which I assume forms part of the box seal remains. Nice complete package, and incredibly small. There were numerous box variants. photo credit Adrian Photo source internet

Army infantry officers peaked cap with silver bullion wire eagle and cockade. Nice quality cap made from doeskin material, small tear to the top and a little staining to the edge. Maker marked Karl Hartel, Kurschnermeister, Weiden-Opf. Some wear and tear to the inside and a bend to the visor on the right hand side, otherwise a nice honest cap which has seen some service.
