A not so well known march - Löwengeschwader - the March of Kampfgeschwader 26 In one of the photos, Walter Neusüß is depicted in an official press photo from around October 1939 (third photo from start of clip). Was very surprised when I saw this. Has unfortunately been deleted by youtube - see further down for another recording, mp3 16.9.2019

Does anybody have a recording of the German national anthem which sounded like God save the Queen? -
Militärkonzert, Berlin 1987 (750. Anniversary of the city) der Nationalen Volksarmee and Grenztruppen der DDR A very interesting concert with a big selection of military marches, old and new. This was the 750th anniversary of the city of Berlin, 1987. The concert took place on the steps of the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt between the French Cathedral (Französischer Dom) and the German Cathedral in Berlin (East) Splendid music by a splendid military band in a splendid setting!

The Svenske Gustaf-Adolfs-Kyrkan has a long tradition in Hamburg since 1906 and survived the bombings of 1943 There are also the Danish, Norwegian and Finnish Seemens' Churches in Hamburg, each with their own special Christmas Markets offering specialiaties and refreshments and demonstrating Skandinavian Christmas traditions and open to the public. All these churches are situated around the old port of Hamburg or the Waterfront. The Swedish Church is the only one to offer the Swedish Christmas Traditions of Luciakonserter and Julbasaren, well worth seeing and hearing. En mötesplats för alla som vill känna sig hemma i utlandet. Kyrkobyggnaden är vackert belägen vid Hamburgs hamn. Gudstjänster firas söndagar kl 11:00. Franz Liszt' Les Préludes, Finale was often featured as accompanying music in the Wochenschau films during the war. Here with reports of the fighting on the Krim (Crimea) Clip has unfortunately been deleted by Youtube as usual. Here is a clip with just the Music.-
