  1. Great figures - keep up the good work! I loved CtB!
  2. Heath, Wealth and Happiness to everyone!
  3. Poignant story. It's sad that so many remains are found each year but at least the soldiers get a decent grave. It's a pity that Germany can't honour it's WW1 war dead that only served as soldiers as in other armies.

I'll second that - both of them!
  5. Hope you all got the presents you wanted.
  6. Its great that with simple digital cameras nowadays we can get excellent photos!
  7. You must be very proud of your relatives' medals. Keep them in the family! I have a CFM. Who can say what that is?
  8. Great work Greg. As you say just a wash will improve the finish. Johnsons Clear would get rid of the decal shine.
  9. Really don't know why they continued the turret MGs - was it a cofidence boost for the Gung Ho?
  10. Nice clear pictures. Well done!
  11. Osprey do quite a good book on the Blue Division. It is written by a spanish guy. Seems better than most of their recent titles.
  12. I just love snow cammed vehicles and planes. The Stuka is great!
  13. Great photos to showcase your collection.
  14. Yes with all due respect to the good work that Bovington does they are a bit stuck in 70's cam misconceptions.
  15. Excellent photos! Are the colour ones original or colourised? The GI with the mortar round tubes looks like Clint Eastwood! The youth of the young German is tragic! Someone could have stolen his sweets in the schoolyard but he is pushed into a war! Yes the casualties in BoB were massive as neither side wanted to give way.
  16. A great vehicle! Don't know about hitches but the turret top MG tended to be left off. I've always wondered why but recently read that they caught in tree branches and swung round to clout the commander on the head! Also read that the British did not like the relatively slow rate of fire of the .50 and prefered faster firing .30s to deter Panzerfaust/Panzerschreck teams. I would have thought the .50s greater power would have been useful. Of course there was practically no Luftwaffe aircraft to give the original use of the turet top MGs. This was on Shermans I don't think open topped TDs we
  17. Maybe these boobies sank the Bismark! Enough wobble from side to side to capsize a battleship! Will Kenny employ her as the Bunker Saturday girl?
  18. Thats right Leon. Saw a very good documentary about the Horten wing fighter. A replica was built in the US and they found that it had almost as low a radar signiture as the modern stealth fighter. They reconded that if the Germans could have built them in number they would have devastated UK airbases as they would only give less than 2 minutes of warning on radar.
  19. Took me years to get to this stage Steve!
  20. A very good collector's piece Kenny. My lazy modelling is of the fit human female kind. When the wife's not looking of course!
  21. Even before the guntrucks of Vietnam and modern wars. Seems like the idea is not new.
  22. What scale do CS make their models in?
  23. Isn't that a Ryanair idea to save money on flight crew. Seriously though, looks like a Ju 88 that has been converted into a pilotless bomb. I presume the Me 109 would guide it to its target then release it some distance away to fly onto the target.
  24. Looks a very well finished model. If you take the price of the kit, buying figures (probably expensive resin ones) paint and glue then £135 is not too bad. Is that a K&C model. If so they are larger than 1/35th - 1/30th?
  25. Ah get it now! Actually the kit contains the female figure I believe.
