  1. Hi chaps This just arrived today, a very nice luger holster dated 1918 and made by N Burghard, Pasing. Inside has a unit mark of B.A.XI or clothing issue depot of Cassel. If anyone has any more info ref this mark could you please let me know. There is also a ink mark with R M and ?QMS. So for me I think that is some ones initials and the other bit stand for ? quarter master sergeant. Could be a "U" so could read Unit Quarter Master Sergeant. Again if anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know Cheers Ben
  2. Mmmm the pistol ban I had to hand in a stainless 686 Smith and Wesson 357, a Mk3 Browning, .22 & .32 Hammereli and a .22 Des Unique, and all my Lee Turret press shells powder etc, I gave the lot in and got the cash
  3. Lol Kenny, I have one, its being deactivated right now at Ryon arms, 1917 with hiolster, shoulder stock, cleaning rod the lot, I will post pics when i get it back
  4. This is a very nice 1942 Lithgow Vickers machine gun. It came with its transit box for both gun and tripod, 1942 dated ammo box and a belt with rnds. On a whole everything is in very good condition
  5. While I am at it I will also post my 1916 luger. Again this is an all matching piece even the magazine. It came with its holster which is also 1916 dated but had no luger tool or spare mag. I have since added them to the set. Of interest is the belt loops on the holster, both have been cut. It is my opinion that this was initially cut off a dead German. Whether the guy could not be bothered undoing the belt or the corpse was rotting I do not not know. I also think that this has also been together as a set since it was first issued, again though only my opinion and something that can never be proven
  6. Not posted for a while so thought I would share this with you. It is a very nice 1936 dated luger. It has 95% of its original blueing and the straw part are 90%. It has matching magazine and a matching numbered spare mag, quite hard to find an example with that. It also comes with its own 1936 dated holster which had the original stamped luger tool in it. I would like to think that this has been together from first day of issue but I suppose thats something we will never know
  7. Cheers Kenny, I will have a trawl through the USA. BTW ignore the email I have sent you lol, asking if you had any
