Norwegian Military Administrative Official identity badge. Two piece, die struck alloy badge with black, white and red enamel with a nickel/ silver plate finish. The oval badge is roughly 63 x 40mm with separately riveted eagle with outstretched wings which extend beyond the edge of the badge and is clutching a wreath with mobile swastika. Badge complete with original pin and embossed with the serial number 300. Not a common badge to find in this condition.£430

Stunning looking and highly detailed pair of British Gunsight Royal Navy Binoculars made by Ross of London. Complete with matching rare Tripod. Wooden mahogany box with original green paint nearly all present. Brass carry handles to each box side. Lid has markings in white letters the following ''BINOCULAR GUNSIGHT PATT G367. ROSS LONDON, BOX PROOFED FOR TROPICS , INST. SER NO 123S77 '' Also present is the War Department stamp. Box internally has all parts present including three Alloy Silica Gel round tins, two large and one small. There is an additional round empty alloy tin. Mounting plate to inside of lid for holding the tripod mounting bolts. Box closure hooks present along with locking key. The binoculars are complete with fully working optics and filters. Black rubber face rest has some wear with age. Top of binoculars has maker stamp logo ''ROSS LONDON'' with following stamped below ''10 x70 BINOCULAR GUNSIGHT PATT G367 NO123877 W A/T NP 46 B. War Department broad arrow stamp is also present. Green Craquelure paint finish to the binoculars with all paint present. Front surface of the front filter plate has again the Ross makers logo with serial number ''No 123877'' .The tripod legs are in smooth working order with all screws present and fully adjustable. Original green paint almost complete. Mounting plate present with stamp 10 x 70 to plate underside.£795

Very rare WW2 German ARG 1 Celestial Computer used for extremely accurate navigational readings by the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine particularly the U-Boat arm.The body is aluminium and Bakelite construction with glass screen that is illuminated when plugged in.There is an azimuth with microscope eyepiece and cross hairs. Prussian Jager Zu Pferde O/R Lobster Tail Spiked Helmet, lovely blued steel lobster tail Prussian helmet with all original parts. Steel cockades with all paint remaining and brown chinstrap and liner in excellent condition. Liner has some wear to drawstring holes. Spike and fittings all complete. Dated stamp 1916 to inside base of helmet along with maker stamp 'C.E.JUNKER'. The underside of neck guard is size stamped '58'.Inside of visor has some of the original green paint remaining. The Prussian Imperial Eagle plate has pewter finish. Excellent example and rare in this condition.£1,650

Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Soldbuch to Panzer Obergrenadier Arthur Buchheim who served in 4th Company,replacement Batallion of the Leibstandarte. In his photograph he is wearing his SS tunic with slip on LAH shoulder cyphers. On 29th June 1944 he was transferred to the Stab II Batallion ,Panzergrenadier Regiment 35,16th SS Panzergrenadier Division Reichsfuhrer SS.His 2nd Batallion was involved in one of the worst War crime atrocities in Europe when his unit commanded by SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Anton Galler entered the village of Sant'Anna di Stazzema on the morning of 12th August 1944 and murdered 560 villagers and refugees. At least 107 were children. He was issued this 2nd pattern Soldbuch while the Division was stationed in Bologna Italy, before it was moved to Hungary and finally Austria where the Division surrendered to the British at Klagenfurt. He was transferred from the 1st to the 2nd Batallion Staff Company with pages 2 and 23 signed by Obersturmfuhrer Karl Hennefeld former Co Adjutant of CO 10 and 3. Included is his Fuhrerschein (Driving License) signed by an Untersturmfuhrer. Two photographs, one showing a man in Luftwaffe Uniform possibly his brother with writing to the reverse ,and another of two women, perhaps his mother and sister are also included.£1,795

Beautiful and very rare 1950's Dunhill Aquarium petrol lighter featuring a Salmon swimming up river in Scotland. Lucite body with silver plated metal finish. Stamped to base Made in England Patent No.143752. These lighters were made from Lucite, which was developed in WWII as an alternative to glass, because of its shatterproof qualities, it was invaluable for everything from airplane windshields to submarine periscopes. Following the conflict, the remaining Lucite stock found its way into artists’ studios and designers’ workshops. The lighters were created by Ben Shillingford who was later joined by Margaret and Allan Bennett. While Margaret was responsible for the pencil and watercolour blueprints, it was Allan who carved the panels once the designs had been approved by Dunhill. Like Shillingford, he used dental tools to complete the intricate work, before his wife undertook the back painting of the panels, ensuring every lighter was unique. No two aquarium lighters are the same, making them each a unique work of art. Shillingford’s skills were so outstanding that when he retired the skills necessary to continue manufacturing the aquarium lighter could not be found and production ceased. Dunhill counted royalty, aristocrats and the European elite among its clients, including the cigar-smoking Sir Winston Churchill who kept a Dunhill aquarium lighter on his desk at Chartwell Manor.£6,995

Superb original 1970's era Soviet MIG Jet Pilot Gsh 6A high altitude pressure Helmet and pressure suit. Worn by MIG 21-25 Pilot's when flying at very high altitude and by pilot's in cosmonaut training. Helmet has fire retardant internal sun visor with retention cables. Green BKK-6M G flight pressure suit with its canvas carry bag with stamped markings on suit and to bag closure flap. All tubes and straps etc present on suit. Included is the pilot's stamped and signed logbook from 1973. The logbook stamps match the ones on the pressure suit. Very rare items from the Soviet Cold War military and space era programmes. Only minute traces of gilt wash remain to the edge of the badge around 10 o'clock on the badge which can be seen the photograph. Maker marked '30' for 'Hauptmunzampt ,Wien' with gold pin. Many think these '30' badges with gold pins are actually silver wounds badges with gold pins as stocks had ran out of silver pins. However this is the first '30' badge I have encountered with small traces of gold still remaining. The gilt finish is very minute and you need a magnifying glass to see it, however I think it does prove the fact these are indeed gold badges with the finish absorbed into the zinc rather than a silver with gold pin. Either way it is a rare gold wound badge or a nice example of a silver.£135

Tinted filter control on left is marked Klar-Clear, dunkel-dark, mittel-medium and hell-light. All original dark grey paint finish. Very nice Type 90 Infantry combat helmet. The helmet shell retains about 60% of its original olive drab paint.The Imperial metal star is present to the front. The three pad liner is complete to the interior with no cracking and two of the liner pads have their original cloth padding bags with the original padding inside. Helmet has original cloth chinstrap. A kanji character for size indication is stamped to the front interior liner. Mint text book example of Bevo woven Enlisted/NCO mans cuff title for the 18th Freiwilligen Panzer Grenadier Division 'Horst Wessel' SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division Horst Wessel was formed around a cadre from 1. SS-Infanterie-Brigade (mot) and included mainly Hungarian Volksdeutsche (ethnic Germans) from the Banat. Elements of the division was used for anti-partisan duties in Croatia during training until June 1944 while the rest was in Hungary where the division took part in the occupation of Hungary. Elements of it fought against the Slovak uprising in September and October 1944 as SS-Kampfgruppe Schäfer but it was not until one month later the division fought as a whole unit for the first time, this was against the Red Army south of Budapest.It later fought in Silesia and Bohemia with the survivors surrendering to Czech and Soviet forces at the end of the war.
