Saw on another forum the rather good idea of listing all the reference books you have. It helps others know what guides you might have to help them reference something in. So, removing historical battles, fortifications, ships, vehicles, planes and general military history books my reference collection consists of:

🤪You got to be kidding, list most of  your academic references??.... and I did not get to the other small rooms... Primarly cartridge ID, USMC, and firearms- then marbles  & toy soldiers way too much archaeology on historic artifacts, and way too many unit an specific battle histories. 70 years of books... Do the photo copies  for references count?  I was too cheep to buy the entire book for a specific chapter...    Anyone remember the day prior to a copy machine where notes were hand written or a 35mm macro photo taken of the page. Writting a MA or Phd on a typewritter.... I think I am with Greg on this one.
