Nice interesting booklets Leon ! Must have been scary uncertain times going by some of the information and instructions given in them. Well done! A great find.:)

It certainly does, it was all or nothing in those days, makes you wonder how we managed to win. To think too that allot of people these days do not even know when WW2 happened or who Winston Churchill was, we owe everything to that generation.

We sure do, everyone helped everyone else out & where willing to do there bit for our country! But now everyone's just out for themselves! I was talking to a girl at work about queen Victoria & she pipes up with, she's the queen we have now isn't she !!! This girl is 18 ! What the hell do they teach kids at schools now.

I've told this story before but it cracks me up , a mother and daughter were in the shop looking for items for a school project. We showed them a ration book and the mother asked what rationing was, we explained that food had to be rationed during the war. The mother then said, how did they eat if food was rationed, did they just have to get take-aways? :D This was the mother not the daughter and she wasn't joking. :D
