Buster
Here's another gift the wife got me at Xmas , it's a reproduction thompson drum magazine by denix , it had been said they do not fit a real gun in particular a new spec deact, but it slid into place , albeit a little tight to remove, but a few strokes with a file and it's perfect. The 50 round drum mag will not fit an M1A1 or M1 only the earlier M1928A1. I would have liked an original drum, but at upwards of £400 / £500 just to fit to a deact gun is mental.
Achtung Spitfire!
Hi Buster Here's my 1928A1 complete with an original 50 round L Drum circa 1942 Auto Ordinance Conetticutt and a 100 round C Drum new build Numrich. The woodwork is a reproduction of a 1921 Colt era wood set. Note the larger sized pistol grip. The ammo boxes are 1920s/30s originals with lead head 45 APC inerts The NY Times is an original copy and was printed in 1934 and carrys a front page story on John Dillinger. The Colt 45 is a blank firer. Edited July 29, 2020 by Achtung Spitfire! spelling error
