sommewalker
WW1 CIRCA 1916 canon de 75 modèle 1897 fuze . nick named the beehive fuze because it does resemble one , more often than not you normally find them on the , end of a relic shell head, these are some before and after photos following my tried and tested method, of a 50/50, mix of acid and water, of course observing your own safety , with a fumes mask goggles and rubber gloves etc, a minute or 2 in the mix , then a good soak in pure water, then on to the wire buffing wheel on the bench grinder, and a good going over with a cloth buffing wheel, on the bench grinder, then make up a stand et voila . PLASE BE CAREFULL WHEN HANDLING ACIDS ETC , DONT DO ANYTHOING IN A CLOSED IN ENVIRNMENT , AND WEAR THE PROPER SAFTY GEAR, AND HAVE FRESH WATER STANDING BY JUST IN CASE !!!!
