1914--2014 GREAT WAR ANNIVERSARY CHOCOLATE

Well ! here goes !

as this year is the hundredth anniversary/ commemoration of the start of the great war,

Sainsbury's in partnership with the royal British legion,

have released an advertisement based on the ww1 Christmas truce and

have produced a reproduction of a bar of chocolate the same style packaging

as the one given in ww1,

now this has sparked controversy ,

with some saying its a blatant attempt,

by a high street supermarket to make money!,

what some people don't realise ,

is that yes it helps Sainsbury's who are having a hard time like most retailers,

but it more importantly helps to safeguard jobs ,

+ and this is a big +!

ALL !

the profits go to the ROYAL BRITISH LEGION,

which has helped service men and women and their dependants since its inception,

and will continue to do so for generations to come,

I enjoyed the advert it was very well produced and did , I think portray the feelings of the time,

when things could have been so different

Great advertisement and the chocolate is not bad either. Most of the stores have sold out and hope to get more in soon. I plan to give a bar in with the presents I send out.

with the presents. There still selling like hot cakes. :)
