British Military Eating Utensils, WW2

British Army issue personal kit utensils

A knife, fork and spoon set of aluminium and stainless steel with WD, broad arrow mark and dated 1944 and 1945. Comparable to the German Göffel set, which however was not in individual pieces. Possibly used in the final phase of WW2, light use, slight age, and storage marks. Marked "Richards" and "COMPACTUM stainless steel Sheffield England". I assume these sets were kept in the mess tin.

I Remember getting this set from a local surplus store in the late 60s for use with the ATC. Haven't seen any of these around since then.
