hi Mick,

 

That is cracking black field armour! I assume it is modern reproduction? Any idea when it was made?

 

Do you treat your armour with anything such as Renaissance Wax to seal it and prevent rusting?

Armour is not repro,I've had it about 15 years.picked it up from a great dealer in antique armour and weapons( Peter Finer)it cost a packet but it's better than money in the bank.if you want anymore pictures drop me a line or if your in the northeast give me call and come along and have a look.Mick.

Brilliant Mick! I like Peter Finer's stuff but yes it can cost as all fortune to collect!

 

What country is it attributed to? My guess is German, 16th century?
