Early S.S. man’s peakless cap or ‘Kretzchen’ . This cap was worn during the early days of the S.S. up to the late 1920’s in particular by the ‘Stosstrupp Adolf Hitler’. It is similar to the WWI style man’s cap. The cap is black wool with white piping and is supplied complete with the metal eagle and skull cap insignias that were worn with this cap towards the end of it’s issue time.
