WW2 German Luftwaffe HBT combat tunic

Luftwaffe blue herring bone twill six button tunic with machine embroidered breast eagle hand stitched to tunic.Complete with slip on Feldwebel shoulder straps with brown waffenfarbe piping for signals.The shoulder strap retaining loop to one side has become detatched to one side but it still present.The interior of the tunic is partially lined in blue grey cotton with straps to secure the belt support hooks which are not present.Field dressing pocket is minus it's button, all other blue grey painted buttons are complete and are secured to the tunic by S rings. Felt tropelhelm with double decals.Liner sweatband has Top hat logo with the letter R, inside of the sweatband is size stamped 54 and dated 1942.Some small nicks to the rear of the outer leather trim and one side of chinstrap has snapped to the inside near the liner,this has been reattached to the liner directly using a split pin but does not detract, complete with goggles.VGC

High quality field gray doe skin topped officers cap with red piping for artillery.Interior features officers name Becher to sweatband.Size stamped 57 to inside of sweatband.One minor moth nip and some minor wear to the to the rear of the cap.The left hand side of the cap has a field repair of about one inch running from above the button to just below the red piping.Complete with bullion and metal cockade and unusually a gold eagle.We presume the cap has a gold eagle because the owner was either attached to the navy or the army eagle was replaced using a navy eagle due to the fact it was found in a house in the Channel Islands which had a heavy naval presence due to all the coastal defenses.A rare piece of history from the German occupation of the Channel Islands GC

Very scarce early Kriegsmarine Pith helmet with double KM decals.First pattern cork helmet with six panels over painted with a white wash.Rear of helmet seems to have what looks like large letters where the white wash has come away but we are unsure what these stand for.Inside of helmet is lined in red linen with owners name inked out for security reasons.Interior ventilation grommet is marked CTN DICKE D.R.G.M.The light tan leather sweatband is dated HR41 with ink G. Sch. and size stamped 57.Minus chinstrap, a few nicks here and there to the white wash revealing the original Khaki colour otherwise GC
