Minus pin however priced acordingly GC The Panzer Badge was a German medal awarded to armour troops during World War II. Introduced in World War II in December 1939 (although first introduced during the Great War and another version from the Spanish War). Silver Panzer Badge criteria were: * To have taken part in 3 armored assaults on 3 different days. * To have been wounded in an assault. * To have won a decoration for bravery in an assault. Classes * Bronze, awarded to crews of Assault guns, Halftracks and armoured cars * Silver, awarded to Panzer crewmen In 1943 the medals felt inadequate to represent the veterancy of the panzer crewmen which caused additions to be made to the classes. Four new classes (25, 50, 75, 100) were added to both medals, The new numbers represent the number of days in combat. Some unconfirmed sources claim the existence of a 200-day version as well. * 25 days in combat engagement * 50 days in combat engagement * 75 days in combat engagement * 100 days in combat engagement |

Fire Brigade Decoration 2nd Class, cross with suspension ring. This is 43mm across. The center motif of the cross is a black "running" swastika on a white field encircled by black. All this is in enamel colors. Projecting from the center and along the crosses arms are red-flames on a white background, also enamel. Between the arms of the cross is a silver circle with the words "Fur Verdienste im Feuerloschweson" (For Merit in the Fire Brigade Organization). All of the metal construction is in silver . There is no hallmark or logo on the plain back. This is a very nice medal in very good condition. With original ribbon, nice enameling with no damage, V.G.C.

This medal was an official issue by the City of Munich Hunting Association and was given to members of a shooting party organized by the association to commemorate Hitlers rise to power. The medal is struck in silver and is hallmarked 990 on the lower edge. It is 40 mm in diameter and weighs 38 grams. I have been able to establish is that the medal would have been struck by Deschler & Sohne as they were official suppliers to the City of Munich. The number produced would have been quite small, possibly around 80. Excellent condition |
